Fish Fry Fridays
This Lent’s Fish Fries have been going extremely well with over 800 dinners served each evening!
Many thanks to Chuck Pierce, the Mathews, Melchers and all the volunteers who are working so diligently to make a successful event for the school. And thank you as well to all who have helped to create an outstanding dessert table!
Speaking About Fish Fries…
St. Louis School’s final Fish Fry for the season is April 5.
However, the Lyon’s Club will be having their annual fish fry on Friday, April 13. You may want to join them for your Friday dinner and help a good cause.
We are truly having a break to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection. On Good Friday (April 19) and Easter Monday (April 22) there will be no school. Take time to remember the greatest gift of all – Christ rose from the dead to take to Himself the punishment for our indiscretions and to clear the way for us to share eternal life in His Kingdom if we choose to follow Him.
Winding up the month will be a plethora of activity! April will see the 6th and 7th Grade field trip to Camp Campell Gard on April 24 through April 26. The 8th Grade will travel to Covington to assist the Franciscan Daughters on Wednesday, April 24 and on Thursday and Friday, April 25-26 they will have an excursion to Camp Kern. The 4th and 5th Grade will visit Grassy Run on Friday, April 26.
