Welcome back for another year here at St. Louis School. We have made a few adjustments in our faculty this year. Mrs. Bernhardt will be teaching Art again and Traci Powers will guide your children through the Kindergarten curriculum. A couple of familiar faces will step into teaching positions:
Mrs. Jodi Knolle has retired and Mrs. Sarah Carlier will lead your 1st Graders through the year, and Mrs. Tracey Seibert will head the 2nd Grade Brigade in place of Mrs. Carol Telgkamp who has secured a new position closer to home.
Mrs. Schulkens, our music teacher has also moved on, and Mr. Kyle Conley will be holding the baton for our music classes. We welcome them and wish them a great year.
We have a new group of board members for the St. Louis Parent Organization. They are an enthusiastic group with great ideas for supporting our school. The Parents Club will be having their first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 6 from 6:30 – 7:30 in the cafeteria. You are invited to attend the meeting where you will meet the new members and have the opportunity to exchange ideas with them while munching on appetizers and enjoying a beverage provided by the Parents Club. Attending PC meetings is an excellent way to support your child and learn more about the school he/she attends. Hope everyone will mark your calendars and enjoy an evening with other parents.
St. Louis School will be providing a chance for the students to learn about helping other communities in need. An e-mail has been sent out as well as a flyer which went home in the backpacks explaining how each family can be a part of serving those in difficult circumstances. We encourage you to support this example of compassion and community service to others.
The faculty and staff of St. Louis School looks forward to helping you provide your child with a safe and enriching learning experience.
